The downtime today from 16:00TC to 17:00TC was to implement the new attacking system. Preliminary reports indicate that this attack system penalizes those drug users or those who are currently addicted. It also reduced the effectiveness of whoring a particular stat. Attacks are made on particular body parts. Hits are for less but it seems that battles are much more even than they were before. Also temporary items have been added and are available to be equipped! Please add your finding to the comments section of this article, or use the forum to submit info. |

Wondering how to keep your employee effectiveness up after the recent company updates? Hogfather [330973] made us a great FAQ on the subject, check it out in the company info/tut page!
We got our scientists to put all of your 'items found in the city' data
into some pretty graphs- find them at Items > Findable in the City.
We'll keep adding any more stuff you find (when we have time), just
comment on that page with the details!
Also, we now have a irc channel, #tcbasic. Aurigus has set up an
infobot in there for us, which will be refined over the next few weeks/
years. Come hang out! We've also added as many of the 46 new awards to the page as we could find, and will keep doing so, with your help. Awards with a '?' next to them aren't confirmed. Thanks! |

We now have a new and improved Hunting Tutorial, thanks to Society[512975]! There have been a number of minor aditions, such as a 'tagging' description in the Donator Tutorial, Forum icons in the Symbols Tutorial, and we now have a TC Comic Archive. We also have a brand new forum thanks to Aurigus! All old posts and user information has been moved over as well. You may have noticed that we no longer have links to the 'Items with Images' pages- Chedburn [1] has voiced his concerns regarding copyright abuse of these images. Please remember that all images are (c) Torn City. |

Hey everybody! We're doing a basic bit of research on random city finds, for which we need your help. If you could please comment on this announcement with items you've found/ find, and what time you found them, we'll add them to a table that you can see if you click 'Read More' at the bottom of this announcement. A lot of people seem to be interested in TCB Competitions. Just come into the TCB forums and suggest/ discuss what kind of competition you'd like to see, and hopefully you'll see some/ a big one in the future! Also, we're still looking for someone to update/ repair the Greasemonkey tool. If you have any basic coding experience (or not) and want to help, check it out in the Tools & Calculators section, and feel free to mess with it. Oh, and we've also added a new Category to the forums, 'Other Online Games'. Feel free to chat about other games you play, perhaps share referrals, or even discuss trading money/ items between games (uh-oh). <3, TCB |
